Sheffield United vs Arsenal preview: Prediction, team news & lineups
- Arsenal travel to Bramall Lane on Monday night
- Gunners have won six straight in the Premier League
- Mikel Arteta could welcome several back from injury
Arsenal make their Monday night bow this season as they travel to a struggling Sheffield United side.
After overcoming a fairly woeful run of form to end 2023, the Gunners have emerged as the league's hottest side in 2024. Mikel Arteta's men have won six straight domestic fixtures by an aggregate score of 26-3. They were imperious again last weekend as they thrashed Newcastle 4-1 in the wake of their Champions League defeat to FC Porto.
Arsenal are back on the road this weekend as they visit Bramall Lane. Eddie Nketiah was the hero in the reverse fixture as he scored his maiden Premier League hat-trick in a 5-0 win.
The Blades have endured a wretched return to the top flight, with Chris Wilder returning as manager in December. The newly promoted side are bound for the drop and have been battered 5-0 in their two previous home fixtures.

Sheffield United vs Arsenal score prediction
Arsenal will be expected to cruise on Monday night against a Sheffield United side that will merely aim to contain and counter-attack.
However, the Gunners have been dealing with such threats all season, and although they offered a spark at Molineux last weekend, it's hard to envisage the hosts giving David Ryaa much to think about. Their moments will be limited.
But, you never know, A hint of complacency could creep into Arsenal's game, but they should secure a comfortable win nonetheless.
