Arsenal have been admirers of Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz and now know what it will take to secure his services this summer.

It is no secret that Arsenal are on the lookout for a new midfield partner for Declan Rice this summer and the Gunners' attention might again drift toward Villa Park.

With Douglas Luiz being a long-time target of the Gunners, due to Aston Villa having to comply with the league's profit and sustainability rules per The Mirror, the club could finally have an avenue to secure his services.

The Mirror is reporting that Villa is wanting £50million for Luiz if the Gunners come calling.

"Arsenal have been told they'll need to cough up £50million if they want to land Douglas Luiz," The Mirror writes. "The Aston Villa midfielder has just enjoyed a stellar year and played a key role in the Midlands outfit reaching the Champions League."

While Arsenal has interest in Luiz, so too do Juventus who are already planning a move that could include players involved in the deal Fabrizio Romano reports.

With Mike Arteta already stating his desire to have the club's summer deals done as quickly as possible, it remains to be seen if the Gunners will push along with their interest.

Juventus seem keen to get a deal over the line and Arsenal might not want to get into a bidding war, considering it also needs a new striker with Benjamin Sesko top of the wish list.

The Gunners have been admirers for a long time and now might be their best chance at securing Luiz's services.

But will they/should part with £50million?
