Throughout their history, Arsenal have seen some incredible young talents come through the ranks. The club have always been renowned for having a prolific youth academy, which can be seen from this list of the ten youngest players to ever play for Arsenal in the Premier League.

Before I run through this list, I must first address some of the ground rules, to avoid confusion.

Firstly, this list will run through Arsenal players who played in the Premier League only. Therefore, it will take into consideration the age of the players when they made their Premier League debut, regardless of any debut they made in previous competitions.

Secondly, to "play" simply means being on the pitch at any given time, so it will factor in both substitute appearances (providing the player is a used sub) and starters.

Thirdly, since this a Premier League-based list, only players to play for Arsenal from the 1992/93 will be counted.

Without further ado, let's jump into the list of the ten youngest players to ever play for Arsenal in the Premier League...

1. Ethan Nwaneri (15 years, 5 months, 38 days)

Ethan Nwaneri made history when he was brought on for Arsenal in the 2022/23 season, making him not only the youngest Arsenal player to ever play in the Premier League, but the youngest player PERIOD.

Nwaneri came on as a substitute at the start of the 2022/23 season against Brentford. It was a game that Arsenal were in control of, which was the tale of this campaign as a whole.

Speaking to the club website after the match, Mikel Arteta said: "It was a pure gut feeling. I met the boy, I really liked what I saw. Obviously Per and the academy staff gave me really good information about him as well."

Prior to this, no 15-year-old had ever made an appearance in the Premier League, which could be a sign of something very special for the future with regards to Nwaneri.
