3. Serge Gnabry (17 years, 3 months, 6 days)
At the start of the 2012/13 season, youngster Serge Gnabry was introduced to the world. In very strange circumstances, Arsene Wenger brought on the young German prodigy as his side were 1-0 down away from home against Norwich. This is how the game finished, but it was nice to see Gnabry trusted by Wenger, who was renowned for giving young players a chance.
In truth, Gnabry didn't have the best career at Arsenal, despite benefiting from their insane academy facilities. He spent four years trying to push for a place in the Arsenal team, including a loan spell at West Brom.
However, it was a move to the Bundesliga which really accelerated his career, as a breakout season at Werder Bremen attracted interest from Bayern Munich, where he has now won the Champions League and five Bundesliga titles to date. Not bad, kid!
Serge Gnabry was another promising youngster who came through the Arsenal academy and in many ways, he has exceeded all expectations set of him, just not at Arsenal.
