As far as young stars go, not many have had more than the Gunners. But who are the ten youngest Arsenal players to ever play in the Premier League?

6. Gavin McGowan (17 years, 3 months, 20 days)

A year after the Premier League was founded, Arsenal gave a league debut to the fresh 17-year-old Gavin McGowan. McGowan clearly had something special to be trusted, since deploying young players with little experience in the 90s wasn't as common as it is in the modern day.

Making his breakthrough and league debut for Arsenal in 1993, the right-back played during Arsenal's 1-0 loss away from home against Sheffield Wednesday. Although he would go onto win the FA Youth Cup with Arsenal in the following year, he didn't quite make a name for himself at Highbury.

After two successful loan spells at Luton, the Hatters signed him permanently and he went on to make 70 appearances across all competitions, which is where he will be remembered more prominently than he was during his time with Arsenal. Either way, he's written into folklore as the sixth youngest Arsenal player to ever play in the Premier League.
