A seismic North London Derby beckons as title hopefuls Arsenal make the short trip down Seven Sisters Road to face bitter rivals Tottenham.

While Spurs hold aspirations of their own in regards to a top-four spot, their primary objective on Sunday is to cripple the Gunners' title charge. Arsenal will head into the derby at the top of the table after thumping Chelsea on Tuesday, but their result was matched by Manchester City as they walked all over Brighton.

City remain in the driver's seat, but victory in N17 would pile the pressure on just before the Cityzens face Nottingham Forest away from home.

The Gunners have quickly rediscovered their groove after a torrid eight days in mid-April, and Liverpool's recent demise means it's looking like a two-horse race at the summit.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be rocking for Arsenal's visit, with the home supporters desperate to see their side earn a result. Tottenham are currently chasing down Aston Villa in fourth spot, but their tough run-in means they have their work cut out if they are to return to the Champions League next season.

Here's our preview of Sunday's North London Derby.

The hosts will be without star left-back Destiny Udogie on Sunday after he underwent season-ending thigh surgery last week. Ben Davies will likely deputise in his absence.

There are also doubts surrounding Pedro Porro, but the Spaniard is expected to be fit for the derby. Richarlison should also be back in contention.

Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon, and Ryan Sessegnon are out.

Arsenal team news

Arteta is unlikely to make many changes from the side that thrashed Chelsea in midweek given how well the Gunners performed.

So, we should see Takehiro Tomiyasu, Thomas Partey, and Leandro Trossard all retain their places in what could be an unchanged team.

Jurrien Timber was in action for the U21s on Monday night and is closing in on a full return, but the derby is probably a game too soon for the Dutchman.

Tottenham vs Arsenal score prediction

Arteta is all about eliminating chaos, but I'm expecting a wild derby on Sunday. Ange is not going to change his ways and Arsenal will undoubtedly have their moments.

They could breeze past their rivals and win comfortably if they're efficient in the final third. However, Everton's recent triumph over Liverpool depicted just how tough Sunday's game will be for the Gunners. Tottenham and their fans are desperate to compromise Arsenal's title tilt, and hatred will fuel Sunday's bout in N17.

However, the form Arsenal have shown over the last two games, particularly on Tuesday night, suggests they're going to be in this race until the very end and that means they'll secure a huge three points in the derby.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-3 Arsenal
