For those of us who actively scroll social media, it's pretty impossible to stop thinking about "Barclaysmen", which got me thinking - Who is the most iconic Arsenal Barclaysman of all-time?

Before we get into it, I am fully aware that the term "Barclaysman" might be gibberish to those of you with low screen-time (I am envious of you).

In truth, even the term Barclaysman is difficult to define. It's one of those where simply, if you know you know.

In essence, though, a Barclaysman is a "cult hero" with defining characteristics like skillset or even just a distinct physical attribute such as a quirky hairstyle.

A Barclaysman is a player who was around during the time period of the Premier League's last sponsor, Barclays Bank. This, in turn, brings a wave of nostalgia to the player.

So, who is the most iconic Arsenal Barclaysman of all-time?

Our suggestion: Tomáš Rosický

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Tomáš Rosický exudes everything it takes to be a Barclaysman; a killer hairstyle, baggy t-shirts, gloves when it's cold and of course, a rifle of a shot in his locker.

Rosický signed for Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2006 which, in my opinion, was the prime Barclays era of the Premier League. He then left in 2016, just one year before the Premier League no longer had an official sponsor.

The departure of Rosický truly did mean the departure of the Barclays era.

Rosický was a joy to watch. Every time he had the ball at his feet, Arsenal fans felt like something was about to happen.

The ability to glide past players with the drop of a shoulder before firing a cannon shot into the top corner. For a player to be so majestic yet hold back that much power, it only added to the allure of Rosický.

It goes without saying that the most iconic Rosický moment in an Arsenal shirt was when he rifled the ball into the top corner against Tottenham Hotspur. It's even better considering he shot the ball into the far-left corner, from the right, with his right boot.

Honorable Mention: Marouane Chamakh

Sean Walsh and Jack Gallagher over at 90min put forward the suggestion of Marouane Chamakh, which is impossible to disagree with.

I mean, if his mohawk doesn't scream prime Barclays, then perhaps his snood will. Oh, he was very handsome too.
