Arsenal have one of the greatest youth academies in the world. In recent history, Hale End has seen some incredible graduates in the form of Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

However, below the pile of successful graduates, there are those who find their success elsewhere. Examples of these players are Serge Gnabry, Folarin Balogun and Donyell Malen - Players who benefited from the expertise of the Arsenal academy but found success elsewhere.

Joining the list of players who seek success elsewhere is Omari Benjamin. The 18-year-old has made eight Premier League U18 appearances for Arsenal this season, scoring three goals and providing an assist. His performances are not good enough to warrant a professional contract at the Emirates Stadium and so, he will be released from the club at the end of the season.

According to a new report by Football Insider, Everton are ready to offer Omari Benjamin his first professional contract. The report claims that Benjamin has spent some time trialling in Merseyside and he has impressed Everton officials enough to convince them to table an offer.

Should Benjamin sign for Everton, then he will join fellow Hale End graduate Alex Iwobi, who got a great run-out in the Arsenal first-team before joining Everton. The Nigeria international could certainly teach a thing or two to Benjamin, who is yet to make his first senior appearance,.

Recently, Pain in the Arsenal ran through 10 players who improved after leaving Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether Benjamin joins this list but he is certainly showing signs of being a real goal-scorer. In Benjamin, Everton would be getting an excellent striker who has also played on the wing, so a versatile option for Sean Dyche.
