Arsenal travel to face Chelsea in a Premier League London derby clash later today as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.

The Gunners defeated Bayern Munich 3-1 in the Champions League last time out with Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli all getting on the scoresheet to help their side to a crucial three points.

As always, Mikel Arteta will field the strongest side for this afternoon's trip to Stamford Bridge, but he will have more decisions to make due to injuries and top performances.

Here's how the Arsenal team could look for their matchup with Chelsea.

Goalkeeper & Defenders

David Raya (GK) - Yep, always a safe bet.

Jurrien Timber (RB) - Fresh off scoring against Bayern Munich, he will continue at right back for this game and will have a tough test ahead against the Chelsea left side.

William Saliba (CB) - With Gabriel absent, he will have to continue being the senior experienced figure in the centre of defence.

Piero Hincapié (CB) - He was offered a rest against Bayern, but will take back his spot from Mosquera for this test and will be hoping to put in a similar performance to last week against Tottenham.

Riccardo Calafiori (LB) - His fantastic start to the season has continued and he will keep Lewis-Skelly at bay once again.

Midfielders

Eberechi Eze (CM) - After his hat-trick against Tottenham, he grabbed an assist in midweek and will be hoping he can have a similar impact today.

Martín Zubimendi (CM) - His top performance against Bayern didn't go unnoticed and he will remain at the base of midfield.

Declan Rice (CM) - He put on a world class display in the Champions League and he has another chance to show his ability against a side he was once tipped to join.

Forwards

Bukayo Saka (RW) - He put in a good performance against Bayern, causing plenty of problems with his set pieces, but he will face a tough test in the form of Cucurella today.

Mikel Merino (ST) - While he didn't score, he still had an influence in midweek, dropping deep as in a false nine role and he will play the same this afternoon.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - With Trossard facing a potential absence, the Brazilian will come in on the left flank and will be motivated after scoring in Europe.
