A record-breaking first leg win means Arsenal are projected to enjoy a procession on Wednesday night.

Unless PSV Eindhoven complete the mother of all comebacks just eight days on from suffering a woeful humiliation, Arsenal will be involved in the Champions League quarter-finals. In fact, many might fancy switching over to the Madrid Derby while our second leg is playing out.

Mikel Arteta understandably refused to rotate at the weekend, but Arsenal's familiar attacking struggles and their healthy lead in this tie means we're bound to see personnel switches galore on Wednesday night.

Here's how the Gunners could line up for PSV's visit.

Goalkeeper & Defenders

David Raya (GK) - Three excellent Raya saves in the second half on Sunday ensured Arsenal earned an unhelpful point at Old Trafford. The Spaniard came out of the side on Matchday 8 of the league phase, but I don't think we see Neto on Wednesday.

Ben White (RB) - It's been a subdued return from injury for White, who's only made a couple of bench appearances. However, this is a good opportunity for the Englishman to make his first start since November.

William Saliba (CB) - Jurrien Timber deserves a break, and Arteta doesn't have another route to go down at right centre-back. Saliba starts again.

Jakub Kiwior (CB) - Gabriel could earn a breather, though, with Kiwior, who's barely featured in 2025, coming into the starting XI.

Myles Lewis-Skelly (LB) - Arteta has a couple of options at left-back, with Riccardo Calafiori preferred on Sunday. Teenager Lewis-Skelly was fortunate not to get sent off in the first leg, but he could be brought back in for the return leg after appearing off the bench at the weekend.

Midfielders

Jorginho (DM) - Arteta's heavy rotation means we could see an unfamiliar triumvirate in the middle of the park. I have no issues with Jorginho making another Champions League start here.

Mikel Merino (CM) - Merino was on the scoresheet last week (who wasn't?), but he was ineffective at Manchester United while operating up top. The Spaniard did drop into midfield in the second half and once again appeared slow in possession, but his inclusion should offer Declan Rice respite.

Ethan Nwaneri (CM) - Nwaneri was quiet at the weekend, and I'd love to see him operate in Martin Odegaard's role on Wednesday night. Succession plan?

Forwards

Raheem Sterling (RW) - Kieran Tierney was preferred to Sterling off the bench at the weekend, with the Englishman's stock continuing to decrease. However, there could be an opportunity for the veteran in the second leg against a PSV side that defend aggressively but without much co-ordination.

Leandro Trossard (ST) - With Merino dropping into midfield, Arteta has to go back to false nines. Trossard was terrible on Sunday, but there aren't exactly options in abundance.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) - Expect Martinelli to get an hour under his belt in midweek after he returned from a hamstring injury at the weekend.
