Tonight, Arsenal are taking a detour from the English capital to the French capital, with one thing on their mind: a place in the Champions League final.

Heading into this match, PSG holds a 1-0 aggregate lead, after beating the Gunners rather convincingly on away soil. Standout player Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented Arsenal from capitalizing on their few chances at goal.

Between the two legs of this tie, Arsenal lost in the Premier League against Bournemouth. However, their focus was on this second leg, where they simply need to win.

A draw or PSG win would mean Arsenal are dumped out of the Champions League. Exiting the competition is never nice, but it's particularly bitter to leave it right before the final.

Let's hope that we aren't suffering together as much as we were in the first leg. Given the conditions of this game and what's at stake

PSG vs Arsenal live (live score: PSG 2-1 ARS, 3-1 agg)

90+5 mins. The Champions League is over for another year. We were beaten by a far better side. Back to the drawing board for Arteta now.

86 mins. Yellow card for Bukayo Saka.

86 mins. Yellow card for Riccardo Calafiori.

83 mins, Jurrien Timber off, Ben White on.

80 mins. Saka should have scored again, but doesn't have enough time to adjust his feet. That is a HUGE opportunity missed.

76 mins. WAIT! Hold the phone! Bukayo Saka has just scored.

72 mins. Goal for PSG, Achraf Hakimi. Tie over now.

69 mins. RAYA SAVES A PENALTY! Shouldn't have been a penalty, but he saved it!

68 mins. Leandro Trossard off, Gabriel Martinelli on.

68 mins. Myles Lewis-Skelly off, Riccardo Calafiori on.

67 mins. Penalty to PSG, for a Lewis-Skelly handball. No appeals whatsoever. Well done VAR for ruining yet another game.

64 mins. An excellent shot from Bukayo Saka, who tried to curl a ball into the top corner, but a world-class save from Donnarumma. More of that, please, Arsenal.

61 mins. Remember when Arsenal used to be known for "trying to walk it into the net"? Yeah, seems like we're doing that right now. The players are scared to shoot, for some reason.

56 mins. Yellow card for Martin Lewis-Skelly.

51 mins. A foul was eventually given away, but some excellent work rate from Thomas Partey prevented a dangerous PSG attack. The midfielders are doing their jobs tonight, at least.

46 mins. We're back underway for the second half, and an immediate chance is required by Arsenal. The next opportunity NEEDS to be a goal.

30 mins. Barcola almost scores, but a last-ditch challenge from Rice puts him off.

27 mins. Goal for PSG, scored by Fabian Ruiz. A beautiful hit, that hurts.

26 mins. Yellow card for Declan Rice. So far, Thomas Partey hasn't screamed at him.

23 mins. Another counterattack from PSG, but the shot was weak and easy for Raya to handle. Clear to see what PSG's approach is, though, to catch Arsenal on the break.

18 mins. Yellow card for Nuno Mendes.

17 mins. The closest to the goal so far... And it's PSG. It's been all Arsenal so far, but Kvaratskhelia issues a harsh warning by hitting the woodwork.

13 mins. FIVE long throw-ins from Thomas Partey so far, and each of them has been dangerous.

8 mins. Another chance from a long Partey throw-in, with Martin Odegaard finding the ball on the edge of the box. Another world-class save from Donnarumma, but the loose ball was connected with excellently from the skipper.

7 mins. To reiterate, a brilliant start from Arsenal. The only thing that's missing is a goal.

4 mins. Long throw-in from Thomas Partey, who finds Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian forces a great save out of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Gunners are asking questions, which we want to see.

3 mins. The usuals are up to it again, Jurrien Timber whips in a great cross to Declan Rice, who heads JUST wide. A huge chance early on, but great signs!

1 min. AND IT'S LIVE!

Interesting moment before kick-off, as the Arsenal players walk over to the away fans to gear them up. We need that 12th man tonight more than ever.

Despite premature expectations (and blind optimism, admittedly), Arsenal fans didn't get their wish.
