While technically, the Gunners aren't safe to progress into the next round, but a six goal head start is pretty nice head start.
But what it does do, is make Arsenal relax of sorts because even though it had goal-scoring issues, many still had the Gunners as favorites to advance. Had it been knocked out by PSV, then the pitchforks would have been sharpened.
