We're all still hurting after Arsenal's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday night, but many fans know where it went wrong for them and Roy Keane hit the nail on the end with his thoughts on the Gunners when discussing the game.

Speaking on the match on Sky Sports, the ex-United captain said what every Arsenal fan is thinking and highlighted their failure to beat his former side came down to the pressure the team would have been feeling ahead of and during the tie.

Roy is well known for his strong opinions on football and not everyone always agrees with him, but he is certainly spot on with this one.

Roy Keane highlights Arsenal's main problem in Man United defeat

Speaking in the Sky Sports studio after the game, Micah Richards claimed Arsenal showed a lack of urgency, energy and someone wanting to take the game to United, saying the big players went missing.

In response, Keane said: "Do you know what that's called? It's pressure. Pressure, pressure's on Arsenal today. You see the other results and you're in a great position, got everything going for him, doing really well in all the competitions.

"That's pressure. They're feeling the pressure. It's how they deal with it over the next month. That's what's cost them over the last few years when they've got themselves in good positions. And the sign over the last few weeks, going back to the Liverpool game, the [Nottingham] Forest game and today [Sunday], losing that momentum.

"If you step back, they'll have to have a reset and still step back and go we're still in a great position, we've got to get our momentum back and almost a little bit of confidence. I can't believe they don't look like a confident team, where they are in the league and what they're doing in the other competitions.

"You'd almost have to sit in the dressing room and go, what's up with everybody? Play the game, they're obviously playing the occasion. They started getting a bit of joy when they were throwing the subs on and they were gambling, maybe playing off the cuff. Okay, they got back to 2-2 and if it weren't for a brilliant goal, they might've got a draw, but they've got to get back to basics and start embracing this challenge instead of being frightened of it."

There is no denying that Keane is absolutely spot on with this claim. In recent seasons, Arsenal's failure to win the league has come down to them being unable to play when the pressure is on them and history is threatening to repeat itself once again this campaign.

Their approach to the past few games has been their biggest problem and it's only the Gunners who are hindering themselves.

As Keane said, Arsenal now need to reset, acknowledge the great position they still find themselves in before going again. The approach needs to really change though because if it doesn't, the Gunners will be second-best once again this season.
