Eberechi Eze is out for a while, but there is hope that he could return for Arsenal's biggest game of the season, according to the Mirror.

Eze's first season at Arsenal has not been what he would have expected in terms of individual brilliance. Obviously, there are so many things that he and his teammates have achieved in terms of league positions and qualifications, and advanced stages of both the Champions League and the FA Cup, as well as the final of the Carabao Cup.

However, individually speaking, Eze has not really had the best season.

In the first half of the season, he was struggling to score against any team that was not either Tottenham Hotspur or Crystal Palace.

And then, in the second half of the season, he has scored a bit more, but still far from the level Arsenal fans want from him.

The most positive news about Eberechi Eze's injury is clear as day

The consistency isn't there yet, and it is not something that he can do anything about for another few weeks because he has picked up an injury.

He could be out for a month, but he also could be back for Arsenal's clash against Manchester City in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.

It's not confirmed, and it probably won't be confirmed until closer to time, but people close to the story are hopeful for it.

If so, he would obviously be a huge boost for Arsenal.

As inconsistent as the Englishman has been this season, it is clear that he is a player that can change the game just by himself.

He is a very important piece to his team, even when he's not in form, and he has the ability to decide games when needed.

We saw that again at Crystal Palace last season, and people know that there is something inside Eze that wills teams to victories in many, many games.

So even if Eze is not entirely at his best, just to have him around in those game states is going to be really important for Arsenal because they need their entire squad for a game as big as that.

If Arsenal lose that game, there will be a lot of pressure from Man City in the last few games of the season.

However, if they draw or win, it will all but confirm Arsenal as the likely champions of the Premier League in the 2025–26 season.

And for that to happen, Mikel Arteta will need Eze, as well as every single possible player, to be fit and in form as Arsenal chase the glory once again.
