Gyokeres' goal in the Emirates Cup last weekend will have put him strongly in the manager's mind for an opening day debut.
However, given what we have seen from Gyokeres in pre-season and where he is physically in his own pre-season, Arsenal fans may have to wait until the second half to see their new Number 14.
