Even at the best of times, the Arsenal fanbase is guaranteed to be divided. This is the nature of the sport, especially for a team as big as Arsenal.

However, one rule which is commonly agreed upon is this: When Thierry Henry talks, you be quiet and listen.

By a country mile, Henry is the best player to wear the Arsenal jersey. He's arguably the greatest player the Premier League has ever seen, and he set a completely new standard which is yet to be reached again.

And now, Thierry Henry has had his say on recent Arsenal signing Eberechi Eze.

But, here's the twist: unlike some pundits, Henry has told Eze directly, through a video shared by Ian Wright.

Thierry Henry has encouraged Eberechi Eze to make it count

Wrighty asked Eze the players he looked up to while he was in the academy. It didn't take Eze much thinking time to present Thierry Henry as his first answer.

After Eze answered this, Wrighty reached for his phone and pulled up a video recorded by Thierry Henry himself. As you might expect, Eze was pleasantly surprised.

In the video, Henry offered words of encouragement to Eze, and gave him a warm welcome to Arsenal.

In his own words, Henry said: "First and foremost, welcome to the Arsenal. We all know how much you wanted to play for the Arsenal, wear the cannon at the Emirates... There you go. It's not a dream anymore, it's not a utopia. That has become reality."

Then, in true Henry fashion, he turned to leadership. He encouraged Eze to make it count, and reflected on his personal journey to say that this is only the beginning. Eze's story doesn't end here, it starts here.

Continuing, Henry added, "Make sure that you make it count. When I first arrived at the Arsenal, they told me it is a club that has class, it's a family club, and you gotta fight no matter what, okay?"

Henry, speaking like a true Arsenal fan, expressed how happy he was that Eze had signed for the club. He concluded with "So happy. Come on the Arsenal."

Eze has the backing of not just Ian Wright, but Thierry Henry too. They are, without a doubt, the two greatest players to play for Arsenal. Ian Wright might have been the mentor for Eze when he signed for Arsenal, but Henry insisted he had his own say.

This shows the family appeal, which Henry alluded to himself, that Arsenal still has. They will always have that. Current players have the backing of club legends, and Eze, despite not kicking a ball for the club yet, has that backing just as much as anybody else.

If TiTi's excited, we all should be.
