Arsenal travel to face West Ham on Sunday afternoon as they look to restore their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points with three games left to play.

The Gunners secured the spot in the final of the Champions League last time out as a Bukayo Saka strike saw off Atletico Madrid to seal a 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg of their semi-final encounter.

West Ham went one step closer to relegation in their last outing as they fell to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Keith Andrews' Europe chasing Brentford, with Igor Thiago and Mikkel Damsgaard adding to a Konstantinos Mavropanos own goal to deal the Hammers' survival hopes a huge blow.

This is an absolutely monumental game for both clubs. Mikel Arteta's side can practically put one hand on the Premier League trophy if they are to win while West Ham, staring down the barrel of their first drop since 2011, are in desperate need of three points.

Here's our preview of Arsenal's trip to take on the Hammers.

West Ham team news

Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed in his pre-match press conference that he has all his players available for selection so he will be prepared to field his strongest side on Sunday.

Captain Jarrod Bowen, who has provided eight assists in his last 11 league games, will start as he looks to make an impact to help his side's attempts to avoid the drop.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kyle Walker-Peters could rotate at right back while Callum Wilson may come in up top, but for the most part, things will remain unchanged for the Hammers.

Predicted West Ham lineup vs Arsenal: Hermansen; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Disasi, Diouf; Bowen, Fernandes, Soucek, Summerville; Wilson, Castellanos

Arsenal team news

Arteta confirmed there are no fresh injury concerns after the win over Atletico win, but there is no chance for Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber to return from their respective injuries tomorrow.

There is a strong likelihood that the Spaniard opts to stick with the same starting XI that overcame both Fulham and Atletico in the past week with Viktor Gyökeres and Myles Lewis-Skelly among those who will retain their places.

Whatever side he fields, Arteta will should be naming the strongest one as his side's relative clean bill of health comes at the toughest game of their run-in.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs West Ham: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Eze; Saka, Gyökeres, Trossard

West Ham vs Arsenal score prediction

If Arsenal are going to slip up from here, this is the game it will be. West Ham have proven to be a tough force for the Gunners to deal with in recent years, both home and away, and they have been guilty of failing to overcome the East London side at crucial parts of the season.

However, dominant wins in their last two visits to the London Stadium bode well for Arsenal and while it would be nice to see them gain another victory in such fashion, it may not be as pretty this time around.

The win over Fulham was glamorous, but the Gunners won't be granted the same fortune as they will be made to work for a scrappy three points on Sunday afternoon, but the important thing is, they should come away with the win.

Prediction: West Ham 0-1 Arsenal
