Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard has been in great form over the past two weeks.
Often seen as the "super sub" due to his good performances off the bench and average ones when starting, Leandro Trossard has often frustrated Arsenal fans.
With the thought being "why can't he produce when he starts" as the conversation starter, Trossard has been much-maligned at times, but his form over the last week or so has given fans confidence.
Three goals in two games, which takes his tally to 10 in 50 games in all competitions, doesn't look good, but Leandro has been at the races, when others haven't.
Two goals against Ipswich and then his well-taken strike against Crystal Palace, Trossard is in some kind of form, and when we look back even further just in the league, the Belgian has scored four goals in his last four games and what is perhaps the most shocking thing if we can call it that, is that he's started in those four games.
Super sub no more?
What is key to Trossard's recent form surge?
The most obvious one is that Trossard has got a run of games together to help build rhythm in his game and develop chemistry with his teammates.
The other is confidence. All it takes is one goal, one good moment or performance and the penny can drop. Has that happened here? It is hard to tell, but something has Trossard in the form of his life as the season comes to a close.
"Very good, I think he's been a very consistent player for us, whether playing as a nine, as a winger, starting or being a sub, and that's what you want from players," Arteta said of Trossard via arsenal.com. "He's always ready, he's always fit, and he can make the difference in any moment, that's the best thing about it."

We can hear fans saying "where was this when Saka and Martinelli were injured" and that is a valid thought, but some players don't thrive on that sort of pressure.
Maybe that was Trossard.
Either way, with the pressure off thanks to the returns of Saka and Martinelli, the need for him to produce isn't as high, so he has relaxed, and four goals in four games is the proof.
