What should we expect from Bukayo Saka in his Arsenal return vs. Fulham?

Arsenal is set to finally welcome Bukayo Saka back from injury after what can be described as a long three months.

Having not seen the winger since December, having Saka not only back among the squad, but per Mikel Arteta via arsenal.com, he's "ready to go." It might not be a case of Saka coming off the bench for the final 20 minutes of the game - he might start.

What can we expect from Saka vs. Fulham?

Of course, there is a natural hesitancy to ease Saka back into the rigors of Premier League football but by all accounts, all the hard yards have been done, and Bukayo is ready to roll as a possible starter.

Granted, there is a risk associated with that, but such is the Gunners' need to secure Champions League qualification as soon as possible, with each win that gets closer to being finalized. The last thing we want is for the Gunners to get dragged into a fight for fourth place.

Having Saka back certainly helps with that.

"It's another massive weapon that we have with him," Arteta said via arsenal.com. "We know the impact that he's had on the team and how important his role and his contribution are to our success. So it's great to have him back."

The boost that having Saka back could give an Arsenal side that is in desperate need of not only attacking reinforcements, but also some positive vibes, can't be understated and it could very well be the move that sees the Gunners end the year with an almighty flourish.

Yes, the Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid looms as a monster clash and one the Gunners will be underdogs, but having Saka back, with a couple of games under his belt, gives a whole different feel to the tie and Arsenal will fancy its chances with Bukayo in the line-up.

But we have to be careful about putting expectations too high on Saka in his return as there is bound to be some rust.

However just having him on the pitch or on the bench will uplift the entire squad, not to mention the stadium against Fulham.

There are only a select few games left in the season, and Saka's return has come at perhaps the perfect time...just don't expect too much from the outset.
