Where Arsenal starts its summer transfer business is crystal clear.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side, while not mathematically out of the Premier League title race, for most, they are, being 12 points behind Liverpool with just nine games left.
A big reason for that is the club's inability to recognize its biggest weakness that has been glaringly apparent for over 12 months - a striker.
Now, the injuries to Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli were perhaps rotten luck, but the need for a "proper" striker was clear for all to see last summer, yet no one came in.
The same happened in January, with a thought that had the Gunners made a quick fix, it would tie one hand behind their back in the summer to go after the big fish they want.
But make no mistake about it: the Gunners and Mikel Arteta are facing perhaps the biggest summer in his tenure, and it is a non-negotiable that a striker, and one of quality, comes in.
Who could Arsenal target?
Newcastle's Alexander Isak looms as "the" guy for the Gunners but with the Magpies looking a good bet to make the Champions League, it is hard to make a case that Eddie Howe would want to sell his most prized asset.
But the Gunners might have just gotten some help in turning their attention to an alternative.

Per the Daily Mail's Amie Wilson, Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres might be available and far cheaper than initially thought with the striker's release clause going from €100 million (£83.6m) to €60-70 million (£50.2m-£58.5m) thanks to a verbal agreement between club and player.
So, while Isak could nearly break the bank for Arsenal, not to mention Newcastle being able to play hardball in negotiations, Gyokeres could be available, and "at cost" as well.
That could be a win-win for Arsenal and the club has been linked with the striker for the best part of 18 months.
There are a host of needs that the Gunners have to address, but for most, it should start and stop with signing a top-tier striker and then fill out the squad from there.
Isak might be too expensive, but now Gyokeres could be a cheaper alternative. Either way, the first port of call for the Gunners HAS to be getting attacking help.
