Arsenal vs Burnley Preview: Time to make a move

It is a known fact that winning, solves all locker room problems. For the pass few weeks it has been painful watching Arsenal play, and to make it worst negative news concerning the Arsenal locker room seems to come out every few days. This team seriously needs a good win, and against Burnley that might happen! I think there is a chance Arsenal plays another poor game, but having not played for a week I feel like Arsenal are going to be able to control the game from the beginning.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Burnley

1) Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez has settled in to the Arsenal setup nicely and he is playing his heart out! Sanchez has demonstrated great talent along with a crazy work ethic. He is the reason Arsenal won last week and it is unlikely he is slowing down anytime soon. Look for Sanchez to be a crucial part of this game and be a huge part of the offense and the defense.

2) Arsenal’s Attack

More from Arsenal Match Previews

Can you imagine a track race with Sanchez, Welbeck, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain? That would be quite ridiculous, and to be honest, I think any combination of those players will be able to get behind any defense in Europe. Getting behind opponents defense is the only way to open up the midfield for Arsenal, and with Walcott getting back in to shape and the continuous improvement of the partnership of Sanchez and Welbeck make this attack look more deadly by the week. I have been waiting all season to see Walcott play and there might just be a chance for us to see him finally get back on the the pitch at the Emirates Stadium.

3) A Shaky Defense

Arsenal’s defense is very shaky, and in my mind, that is a complement. But this game should be more about Arsenal’s attack and midfield, and if Arsenal controls those areas of the pitch then the holes in the defense will not be exposed as badly. Wenger needs to address the holes on defense and also the lack of a defensive midfielder, but I don’t think those problems will stand out to those of us watching.
