Arsenal Transfer Rumors: Cedric, Georginio Wijnaldum Latest Links

You know the Arsenal transfer rumors are getting good when we start getting linked to players you’ve never heard of, because those are the rumors that usually turn out to be true (thank you, Arsene Wenger!). The latest two names to be linked with Arsenal are such cases.
Cedric Soares, a Portuguese right back who’s currently playing for Sporting CP’s reserve squad, is the latest defender to be linked with the Gunners. At 23 years of age, Cedric is still in the reserve squad and as such, a move for him would make sense, especially to a club such as Arsenal, who have a defensive shortage and could very easily afford him the opportunity to play for one of the biggest stages in European Football.

The problem is the same as the positives however; he is young and inexperienced and we really don’t know what we’d be getting in him. As such though, the price tag will be cheap and at the very least, we could venture to give him a shot.
The other link is a name that I have to copy and paste because it’s impossible to type: Georginio Wijnaldum.
Georginio is a 23 year old Dutch attacking midfielder that Arsenal and Tottenham have both been following. He currently suits up for PSV and says that he wants to stay there until the summer, but after that, he wants to advance his career and move to a bigger and better stage, and there aren’t any better than the Premier League.
While Wijnaldum has ruled out a January move, he has also added that the longer he waits, the less time he’ll have to advance his career the way he wishes.
Another day, another two rumors. January should be an entertaining month indeed, barring any charity events that Wenger has to attend.
