With very few absolutely pressing needs, Arsenal’s links are starting to actually be geared towards making sense. Instead of being heavily tied to Paul Pogba or Edinson Cavani, we’re being tied to younger players or depth additions.
It really is the first time in quite awhile that transfer rumors are trending towards logic.

And it’s true, Arsenal really don’t have many pressing needs aside from health. If we lose Theo Walcott, another winger wouldn’t be the worst decision, but we have some options within the club already, and there aren’t too many links to straight wingers.
We could use a secondary striker, as Giroud can’t play every game and I still 100% lack faith in Danny Welbeck. Some midfield depth would be welcomed too, given our injury woes and the likelihood of losing Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini.
Arsenal does not need a keeper, as David Ospina has risen to the occasion to earn the role he has, and Wojciech Szczesny is a perfectly capable replacement.
