5 Things to Watch For in Arsenal’s Champion’s League Escapades
By Josh Sippie
1. Can Arsenal score?
I never thought I would have to ask this question. Especially not this year. With Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Alexis, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey among a handful of others, this offense packs a serious punch. However, Arsenal had looked absolutely toothless until the Stoke City match up. They are creating more chances than anyone but they are converting less than anyone as well.

That is not a good formula. It is a formula to lead to more psychological demons. There will be more upsets against lower-tier teams and more frustration and mental hurdles. So far this season has proved that Arsenal have not had what it takes to put it in the net of some mid-table EPL teams. What happens when they face continental champions? Teams that have topped their entire league? Whether it be the Bundesliga or the Croatian League, Arsenal will have to beat champions. Champions do not give you goals, you have to earn them.
Arsenal need to prove that the start of the year was a fluke. They have to convert more than just 10% of their chances.
