The North London Derby is here and you can bet that both Arsenal and Tottenham are chomping at the bit to keep their momentum going against their fiercest rivals. Both teams have significant injuries but Arsenal, as always, take the cake as far as how much their train is derailed by injuries.
Even with that being so, Arsenal are legitimate title contenders this year, as everyone can finally attest to, and Tottenham still do not have what is needed to be their equal. Even Mauricio Pochettino has pointed that out.
But that does not mean that this game is predetermined. Arsenal are coming off of a heavy defeat at Bayern Munich and Tottenham are coming off of a late win against Anderlecht. The momentum is strongly in Tottenham’s favor. Arsenal must find a way to not let the Bayern embarrassment affect their Premier League form.
Last year was not kind to Arsenal in the North London Derbies, with the Spurs taking four points from the Gunners. But this Arsenal side has Petr Cech, and no man in his right mind would bet against Petr Cech.
