Arsenal Vs Norwich Predictions
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal are looking to return to solid EPL form against the Canaries and Pain in the Arsenall look to predict the outcome. Here it goes.
Arsenal is set to return to Premier League action after dousing Dinamo Zagreb with a 3-0 defeat. That Champions League resurgence helped numb the pain of the West Brom loss, but the wound has not fully healed.

A nice, comprehensive win without the presence of Francis Coquelin would do wonders to heal that wound, however. With Leicester City and Manchester United doing Arsenal the favor of tying, the door is open to set the table back the way it should be, with Arsenal much higher up.
With that in mind, the Pain in the Arsenal staff offers up their predictions.
Max: Arsenal 2-0 Norwich City
What a huge result for Arsenal on Tuesday! With their backs up against the wall and coming off a depressing run of form over the last month, the Gunners not only survived, but thrived with a comfortable 3-0 thrashing of Dinamo Zagreb. Arsenal will now control their own destiny (thanks to a little bit of help from Bayern) and be facing a win or go home situation in Piraeus, Greece for their final group game against Olympiacos. It is still an uphill battle, but the Gunners can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

For the next two games however, the attention turns back on the Premier League for two winnnable (but still important) fixtures. First up, an away trip to take on the Canaries at Carrow Road, where the Gunners will look to keep the momentum going. More good news comes in the form of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who will be healthy for this Sunday’s matchup after a brutal injury against Sheffield Wedenesday in the League Cup sidelined him for a few games. Whether he will start remains to be seen, but it seems likely that he will get some playing time against Norwich.
Norwich are in a funk, having lost six of their last seven games, including a 6-2 thrashing at the hands of Newcastle (yes, that Newcastle) more than a month ago. It is another game that the Gunners are heavily favored on paper, but that was also the case against West Brom who proceeded to defeat us 2-1, partially thanks to an Arteta own goal and a botched penalty from Cazorla.
Nevertheless, the Gunners will have too much momentum and firepower for the slumping Canaries to handle and will take a gritty 2-0 victory into their next game against Sunderland.
Andy: Arsenal 2-0 Norwich City
This is a tough game for Wenger and his Gunners. Norwich, under manger Alex Neil, have struggled throughout the campaign so far, however, they are a hard working side with some dangerous attacking players. Manchester City were given quite a scare a few weeks ago, when Norwich equalised from a Joe Hart blunder late in the game. City were able to win it with a late penalty, but the game showed the problems that Norwich can pose.
For Sunday, I still expect Arsenal to win, but it may not be the easiest of games. The Arsenal squad is desperately thin, and players are beginning to look tired due to the sheer amount of minutes played. Look to see Giroud on the score sheet again and a hard fought win.
Nasra: Arsenal 3-1 Norwich City
When Arsenal head to Carrow Road on Sunday to face Norwich, they will be looking to bounce back. Last week’s defeat at West Brom was disappointing to say the least, especially when they had the chance to move to the top of the table. The Gunners will not want to let the chance to move higher up the table slip again against Norwich.
With a win on Sunday, Arsenal could potentially move up as high as second place and level on points with leaders Manchester City. They will hope the win against Dinamo Zagreb will give them a little bit of momentum going into the game against Norwich. The return of Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain to the squad will give them a much needed boost in attack. Given Norwich’s poor run of form in the Premier League thus far, I can only see an Arsenal win here.
Daniel: Arsenal 2-0 Norwich City
Arsenal have work to do after a poor performance against West Brom, but a win over the Canaries would mean a share of the top of the table. After a scintillating display against Zagreb on Tuesday, there should be little trouble for the Gunners here. Arsenal win 2-0, with Alexis and Giroud the scorers.
Jabari: Arsenal 2-0 Norwich City
Three points. That is what the Gunners need. Three points to keep pace with Manchester City. Nothing matters but a win and the players are aware of that. After an uplifting victory against Dinamo Zagreb when our stars shined brightest, I believe Arsenal will build on that positive result. I expect this to be a very professional showing by Arsenal. Can any one stop Mesut Ozil right now? Probably not. I expect a goal for Aaron Ramsey and Alexis as well, both crafted by the German ace.
Josh: Arsenal 3-0 Norwich
Arsenal made a point against Dinamo Zagreb. Not only that, but Alexis Sanchez looks set to begin another goal spurt. I would be a fool not to sense at least two goals from Alexis and seeing as how Olivier Giroud scores just about every game, who am I to deny him another?
