Arsenal vs Olympiakos: Betting Odds And Tips
All the betting information you need for Arsenal’s upcoming Champions League match with Olympiakos.
The most important match of Arsenal’s season so far is on the horizon. Wenger’s men not only need a win, but a good win to qualify from the group. Unfortunately, a combination of poor form and injuries have dashed many hopes that Arsenal fans may hold. Although the Gunners were able to beat Sunderland 3-1 on Saturday, and finally secure a much needed victory, expectations are fairly low, and qualification is more dream than reality right now.

Last week I told you to back Arsenal to win and Olivier Giroud to score. Lo and behold, it came through (and I was only one goal away from my prediction). Let’s see what the bookies say for Arsenal’s upcoming match with Olympiakos. The bookies have Arsenal favorites, priced at 21/20, and with the Gunners needing the win to qualify, it would wise to back them at this price. The draw is priced at 13/5, while Olympiakos can be backed at a fairly long 12/5.
Wenger has said in the build up to the game that Arsenal must come all out, guns blazing to qualify. While it is highly uncertain whether Arsenal win by such a margin to qualify, I would wholly expect to see Arsenal come home with the three points. That may not be enough, but you will still be able to make some money.

An Arsenal win is the way to go for this game, and like on Sunday, it wouldn’t be foolish to extend your odds by also backing Olivier Giroud to score, which is priced at a rather generous 3/1. Arsenal to win to nil is also seen at 3/1, and while the Gunners have shown defensive frailties in recent times, it could be a nice little money earner. Let’s hope that that Gunners get the win, and hopefully we’ll see them in the draw for the last 16 round of the Champions League.
