PSG: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

It was not easy. I contemplated Cavani, Verratti, Aurier, Rabiot and even Kurzawa. But I could not see past the Swedish Behemoth. Maybe it has something to do with Zlatan hinting that he could come to Arsenal and the Premier League at long last. That’s all it takes for me to see past all his elite team mates.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the third best striker in the world. Although I’m sure if you asked him, he’d beg to differ. He already has 16 goals and eight assists on the season. There are very few things Zlatan cannot do. He is an aerial master, he is a long shot master, he is a passing master, he is a free kick master… let’s just round it off and say he is a footballing master.

You don’t just pass up on that. Thinking about the plausibility of this rumor, Arsenal could get him for a free this summer and if that is the case, you take it. No questions asked. I am always in Olivier Giroud’s corner, but Zlatan changes things. Pairing him with Ozil and Alexis would be unbelievable. Don’t even get me started talking about a two-forward formation with Giroud and Zlatan side by side. What defense could stand up to that? Correct answer: No defense could stand up to that.

Arsenal have a knack for adding one big name each summer. Could Zlatan be this summer?

There you have it Gooners! One player from each Ligue 1 team. What would you have done differently? Leave a comment.
