Fresh off of seeing one of his favorite bands, Stereophonics, perform this week, Cech will be jamming out in between the goal posts for the Gunners yet again. After a string of just one clean sheet in six matches, the Czech keeper has now kept two clean sheets in his past two.

He will be looking to add to that tally against a very stout attack. Manchester City boasts the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and David Silva so they will be putting Cech to the test. It will be up to Arsenal’s defense to ensure that they don’t leave Petr Cech stranded on an island. For as good as he is, he cannot do everything on his own.

This game figures to be a pretty open affair unless Arsenal aims to slow City down. By that standard, Cech may be facing a lot of dicey scenarios. I can think of no one better equipped to face such scenarios than Petr Cech however. The man has bailed Arsenal out on multiple occasions. He will be ready to add a few more to his resume.
