13. Kelechi Nwakali

The Nigerian wonderkid is fresh off a U17 World Cup title. Needless to say, that is something special. Not only that, but the last Nigerian to pass through Arsenal’s doors was a man by the singular name of Kanu. Not a bad track record.

Kelechi Nwakali has stated that Arsenal is his first choice. Despite his brother being a Citizen, Nwakali’s dream lies at Arsenal. According to the Daily Mail, the young Nigerian styles himself after Yaya Toure. Hard to argue that a future Yaya Toure would not be useful to Arsenal.

Wonderkids have been the name of Arsenal’s transfer game lately. It may be a matter of Arsene Wenger gearing the club up for the future when he moves on. Whatever the case, he is putting the club in a good situation to have a lot of talent crashing on Arsenal’s beaches in the coming years. Between Krystian Bielik, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Vlad Dragomir and more, Arsenal has a pretty high chance of at least a couple of these ‘wonderkids’ making it big in the senior world footballing circuit.
