Arsenal vs Reading Live Stream: Watch EFL Cup Online

Arsenal’s quest for EFL Cup glory continues at home against Reading. Here are all the ways to watch the action unfold before your eyes.
Arsenal looks forward to (and must stay in) these secondary competitions for the same reason – youth. All of their youth and underused players need these secondary competitions to strut their stuff like we saw against Nottingham Forest. It was a comprehensive win and we should be looking for similar against Reading.

Wenger has already given us somesolid hints as to who we will see out there on the pitch. So many hints that we actually had to sort through and decide who would be starting and who would merely be ‘playing’.
Olivier Giroud is back and healthy and, while he should be starting, Wenger may instead opt to start Lucas ‘Starring Role’ Perezto get him some more playing time with which to bully lesser sides.
Regardless of who starts up front, the Gunners have a massive squad rotation to undergo. Anyone that starts from our regular starting XI against Reading has to feel like a risk. Wenger spoke of how Alex Iwobi would play, but I find this a bit foolish, as even 20 year old wonderkids need breaks.
Carl Jenkinson is another exciting prospect that will find the pitch today. The lifelong Arsenal man has to be swelling with pride to take the pitch for the Gunners again after over two years away from the club he holds so dear.

Wenger has also pointed out that Gibbs will captain the youngsters yet again and we can expect to see Mohamed Elneny in the middle, to round off the experienced portion of our rotational squad.
The big question that Wenger has to face is who plays the No. 10 role. He can give it to Iwobi, but handing the honor to Gedion Zelalem or Jeff Reine-Adelaide may be just as beneficial, albeit a bit more experimental.
Reading are not exactly tearing up the Championship division, but they are in the top half with eyes towards pushing up the table. They will provide more of a threat than Nottingham Forest but again, not enough of a threat to worry about.
