Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil

I don’t see how Giroud doesn’t start. I really don’t. He is only getting better. He is re-becoming his wrecking ball self and if we are going to bust up this Spurs defense, we are going to need a big man, knocking heads and dropping shoulders in the box to create some space.

Plus, nobody knows the stakes of the North London Derby better than the big man. Not to mention the fact that if we are going to have any teeth on set pieces (attacking or defending) we are going to need this added aerial target, who happens to be the best aerial target in England (yes, I mean that).

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil is here. He is a mean, mean man to opposing teams and if he can do that against Tottenham (again) then there will be much rejoicing. I do want to take a moment to point out that he assists better with Giroud on the pitch, so let the man have his fun and start this pairing.

With these powers combined, the Spuds should be pushed further down the table as their winless streak continues.
