Arsenal are getting healthy, and fast. Aaron Ramsey came back and looked strong, but now it’s on Danny Welbeck to bust the wall down.

Arsenal’s win over West Brom was not easy. It was frustrating and ugly and almost led to a scoreless disaster. But it didn’t. The Gunner’s scraped out a late goal to take the three points. And in the process, we got to see in full display the depth that this side has.

Tony Pulis wasn’t just blowing smoke when he said that Arsenal’s depth surpasses that of Chelsea’s. Which is pretty shocking given the Gunner’s usual lack of depth.

Both Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey, two wild cards in the flesh, have returned to full training and are ready to make their impact as the season swivels into the second half.

We saw the Welshman come on against West Brom and for the most part, he looked very strong. He had a shot on target that should have been a goal and he created two chances to boot. Not the worst return for 20 minutes after having been out for several weeks.

Ramsey’s performance is merely scratching the surface, however. He has the power to change matches for the better (or worse, unfortunately) and if given the proper chance, he could be a major turning point in this season.

But there is always that chance he isn’t afford the proper opportunity.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Danny Welbeck, meanwhile, has been out for the entire season, stretching all the way back to when he made himself a hero by scoring the last second winner against Leicester City.

I don’t think we can beat the drum enough for the English stallion. The Gunner’s know just how much Ramsey can do if given the chance. They know just about how much every player can do with the right chance.

But not Danny Welbeck. Welbeck has a wide open future with a ceiling that we can’t even see. If Ramsey scratched the surface for the return of this duo, then Welbeck might damn well break the entire wall down when he returns.

I’ve been building it up big time since he was spotted back in training, but you really can’t say enough about what Welbeck could do. He could change everything, alter the starting XI for the better and give Arsenal a flamethrower in the attack.
