Arsenal will hope to keep their best shot at a trophy alive as they travel to face Sutton United. Here are all the ways to watch the action unfold.

For whatever reason, Arsenal just seems to love the FA Cup. They came out an had their best outing of the season against a very capable Southampton last time around, winning by a total of 5-0, and next up on the docket is fifth tier Sutton United.

Sutton will be hosting the Gunners on a plastic pitch that has already served a big part in favor of the hosts, as Danny Welbeck was ruled out due to fears that his injury would not react well to the pitch.

Sutton manager Paul Doswell has also bee playing up the lukewarm showers and leaky roofs that the Gunners will have to cope with.

Still, all things considered, this is a match that Arsenal will hope to utilize as a rebound after their dreadful drubbing/preemptive Champions League exit against Bayern Munich.

However there are doubts. With Sutton set to be full of fight in front of a spirited home crowd, a ‘lukewarm’ Gunners side could be caught flat-footed, expecting an easy bounceback when in reality they are facing a team that may want it more than them.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

The starting XI is the biggest question. The Gunner’s main weapon is going to be Lucas Perez, as he seeks to shore up some sort of rapport with Wenger to prove that he deserves more chances than what he is getting. Spoiler: He does.

Meanwhile, we will also likely get another glimpse at youngsters like Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jeff Reine-Adelaide, both of whom should have more fight than all of the Gunners had combined (minus Alexis) against Bayern.

This is a massive fixture for both sides, but it can’t be stated enough how important it is for the Gunners to come back strong, if not dominant, as they face a two week lay-off before getting back into another unlikely uphill title battle.

As far as the FA Cup is concerned, the draw for the next round already pits the winner of this match against Lincoln City. Chelsea and Manchester United will face off, eliminating one giant, and Tottenham will face the still-kicking Millwall, who saw off defending EPL champs turned relegation bate Leicester City.
