MAN OF THE MATCH: Best player on the pitch throughout. Was one of the only threatening players during the first half hour or so, created the first goal with a lovely pass to Aubameyang, was direct in his dribbling, skipping past defenders with ease, and showed good spatial intelligence, as he almost always does, when drifting inside off the left flank.. 5.5. Quiet game for Welbeck bar the goal, which was a fairly simple finish, it must be said — the quality came from the delivery. His touch and passing was a little lapse throughout and he doesn’t quite offer the same technical quality as his teammates, which was noticeable here. His utility is in his versatility, his athleticism and his industry. Breaking down deep-lying defences is not necessarily his forte.. AMR. Arsenal. DANNY WELBECK
