10. Sead Kolasinac

We kind of all know what we have in Sead Kolasinac, but that doesn’t diminish his value at all. In fact, I’d argue that this season raised his value considerably (in case you couldn’t tell my my own ranking of him).

More from Pain in the Arsenal

I never thought I would use the word ‘consistent’ to apply to the Bosnian Hulk, but this year, barring the tail end, he was exactly that. With so little creativity to be found in our midfielders, Kolasinac reigned supreme as a left wingback extraordinaire.

He lead the team in chances created for the longest period of time, sometimes pumping three, four, five chances into the box per match. I know some people grew tired of his endless cutbacks and sizzling crosses, but that was because they didn’t always find a recipient.

They still provided opportunity, they still made opposing defenses sweat, and come next year, they will still be a huge weapon.

And, of course, the fact that he’s tough as a bear help his value as well. There is simply no pushing this guy around.

Let’s get cracking at No. 9.
