Midfield

It’s starting to become something of a question how Mikel Arteta will suit up this midfield, but only because Dani Ceballos is back, and he needs to get back in there so we can figure out his long term prospectus.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

At the base of the midfield, I would be surprised if Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira weren’t back in there. I feel like Matteo Guendouzi is getting antsy, but he will be back out there at the weekend in the FA Cup. No need to jump the gun on that here.

The big question is if Arteta wants to shake things up in the Mesut Ozil department. Does he feel better off with a No. 10 like Ozil or with a more versatile option like Ceballos, who hasn’t even gotten on as a substitute yet?

Frankly, if it was up to me, you know who I’m going with—Ceballos. But Arteta has not shown a high propensity for change yet, and I feel like he’ll want to stick with Ozil in this one out of some sense of loyalty.

But really though, when can we see Dani Ceballos again?

Lastly, the attack.
