Arsenal: 3 better options and 3 worse options than Dani Ceballos
By Josh Sippie
2, Worse: Marc Roca
Marc Roca is the latest name to join the fray and he’s also the most underwhelming name. Most people will hear it and disregard it. He won’t be seen as a true solution. Like Orkun Kokcu, this is a long play but, unlike Kokcu, his price tag should not be as steep.

Also, like Kokcu, I’m not opposed to snapping up Roca. At just 23-years-old, he has a lot of growing up to do and he needs to be rescued from Espanyol, who are ticketed to relegation whenever the season finally reaches its conclusion.
His numbers aren’t going to turn any heads, but the case I often make is you can only make the most of what you’re given, and Roca doesn’t have a lot being given to him, he’s had to claim it all.
All that said, he is not a realistic alternative to Dani Ceballos or to any of the other better options on this list. His resume is severely lacking and while I wouldn’t mind having him on the squad to grow and develop, perhaps serve in a rotational role, he definitely isn’t an immediate midfield solution.
On to better option No. 2.
