3. Layvin Kurzaw—Plausibility 3/10, Need 1/10

I hate that I even have to include this rumor on the list, but it’s making just enough noise that I kind of have to. He’s the only fullback on this list and there’s a reason for that. Chances are, if everything goes accordingly, Arsenal won’t need to sign any fullbacks. Personally, I love the set-up they have, even if we really haven’t seen it yet.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Hector Bellerin starts at rightback with Cedric Soares behind him. Kieran Tierney starts at leftback with Sead Kolasinac competing with him. It’s literally perfect. But if we do decide to go and sell Kolasinac, or—God forbid—Bellerin, then we will have to do even more business, and that could involve Layvin Kurzawa.

The only reason his plausibility is not as low as his need is because as much as I don’t want to see it, I could see Kolasinac being sold for a decent amount of money. But to turn around and spend all that money—and likely more—on another leftback just seems daft and pointless. Why make more needs when we already have so many?

As of right now, and as far as it should be, there is no need for Kurzawa. None at all. Hopefully it stays that way and we don’t need to hear from this one ever again.
