Arsenal: 15 major transfer rumors rated by plausibility and need
By Josh Sippie
2. Jack Grealish—Plausibility 6/10, Need 9/10
Jack Grealish popped into the rumor mill and promptly evacuated the area. But he was around just long enough to get everyone thinking about how amazing of a move this would be. Forget talk of acclimation, forget talk of getting used to the Premier League. He’s already thriving in the Premier League, not to mention on a club that has far fewer resources on the pitch than Arsenal does.

At Aston Villa, he has proven to be one of the best goal-producing midfielders around and, at just 24-years-old, he’s here for the long haul. He’s nearing his prime as his goal tallies continue to increase and it stands to reason that at the Emirates, with a killer cast around him, he’d find even more success.
The hang-up with Grealish is that he’s locked in at Villa until 2023 and he hasn’t shown any great interest in leaving. Much like Emi Buendia at Norwich (though likely not as extreme), Grealish seems to like it at his long-timer club.
That said, having someone creative like him, active like him, would be a dream. And it would be an immediate and long-term fix. Those are rare these days.
