Arsenal: One transfer target from each Serie A club

Brescia
Brescia is almost certainly going to be relegated, as they currently sit at the bottom of the table, so in the spirit of offloading players who deserve to be at a higher level of competitive play, we turn to Sandro Tonali, the 19-year-old central midfielder that’s been one of the sole bright spots at this Brescia outfit thus far into the season.

Tonali has a goal and five assists from his central midfield position, but more impressive are his ball-carrying numbers. Everyone knows we need a midfield pivot, and Tonali has a handle on that role even though he’s only a teenager. He’s a solid dribbler with ball control that prevents excessive loss of possession. That may spike as he acclimates to the Premier League, but the DNA is there for him to be a quality midfield pivot.
While he isn’t the greatest defensive midfield presence in the world, neither was Dani Ceballos, and Ceballos learned pretty quickly that with a little bit of determination, defending from the midfield is a natural for anyone with the work ethic he, or Tonali, possesses.
This isn’t just a “had to pick someone on Brescia” case either. Tonali is a quality talent that should be drawing interest from a spattering of needy clubs.
