3. Thomas Meunier

Any deal for Meunier would hinge on whether or not Arsenal decide to make Cedric Soare’s move permanent. One thing is sure though, we are in desperate need of a natural right-back this summer.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Considering that Thomas Meunier is available on a free transfer this summer, it’s very surprising that we haven’t shown more of a firmer interest in him when you consider the type of player we would be getting.

At 28-years-old we would be getting a player at the peak of his game and someone flush with medals after his time at PSG. Meunier is a hard worker, extremely consistent and focused and although he is not as explosive as Hector Bellerin he does have pace to his game and offers more physicality than Bellerin does on the right-hand side.

Also, with a fully-fledged international challenging him for the right-back spot it could prove to be the boost that helps Hector Bellerin up his performances next season.

A familiar No. 2 is next.
