Thomas Partey (CM) – In midfield, it’s important that Thomas Partey returns to the XI. Leicester possess some of the league’s best central players so it’s important Arsenal have their best midfielder to help them to attempt to win the battle of the engine room. Getting at least 60 minutes under Partey’s belt would be advisable given how little he has played lately.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – Next to Partey, either one of Xhaka or Ceballos could start. Ceballos had a bit of a horror show on Thursday, but he comes across as the sort of guy who’d be desperate to make up for his errors. However, his ability to play on the left side of a pivot is questionable considering his one-footedness. Xhaka is a seasoned pro, capable of playing through tiredness, so he’ll surely keep his spot.

Emile Smith Rowe (CAM) – In the hole, Emile Smith Rowe should return to his preferred central role. He was hooked relatively early against Benfica on Thursday so will probably be in better condition than Martin Ødegaard who completed a full 90‘ in Athens. Rest Ødegaard, start Smith Rowe.
