Arsenal predicted lineup vs Leicester: Who gets rested by Arteta?
Forwards
Bukayo Saka (RW) – If chosen to start, Bukayo Saka’s selection will be the most contentious of all. However, if he’s fit, he must play. There is absolutely no question that the Englishman is Arsenal’s best player right now and if Arsenal want to cause a strong Leicester defence problems on Sunday, they’ve got a higher chance of doing so with Bukayo Saka in the XI. He might be tired, but we need him.
Alex Lacazette (ST) – Through the middle, Alexandre Lacazette will return. Laca’s ability to drop deep and link things up is especially necessary when Ødegaard doesn’t play so he’ll be needed at the King Power on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW) – On the left hand-side of Lacazette, his good friend and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang must be given a chance to build further momentum. He’s Arsenal’s biggest goal threat and on Thursday he reminded football fans across the world why the Gunners were so desperate to extend his contract.
Like Xhaka, Auba is usually capable of playing a lot of football in a condensed period but if he is deemed unfit, starting either one of Martinelli or Pepe would be advisable.
