Bukayo Saka (RW) – Willian starting to grant the season’s Player of the Year a rest would be the natural course of action, but with Arteta knowing he has to win this fixture comfortably it’s best he doesn’t field ten players.

Therefore another start for Saka looks on the cards, having flirted with three different positions in the same fixture against Villarreal on top of the 9,000 other jobs he’s had to do this season. Boy wonder.

Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng (ST) – While this is a predicted lineup piece, why was he taken off ten minutes from time in midweek having had the two best chances of the game, only for Eddie Nketiah to come on not long after? Puzzling.

Balogun won’t start this one but it would be nice to at least see him on the bench, where he can come on later in proceedings when Arsenal are already 14-0 up. Obviously.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – Destined for a start after doing exactly what he’s done every single time he’s been introduced against Villarreal, seeing him press high and intently will be a pleasure to see from the start. West Brom will try to compress the pitch and make Arsenal play in small spaces, something Martinelli has improved as he can now play inside or out, expansively or in tight spots.

Could be set for another 70-80 minute spell for Aubameyang before Martinelli moves centrally.
