Arsenal Forwards Leaving on Loan

Having paid £450k to lure Nikolaj Moller away from Malmo FF in October 2020, the performances of the Swedish striker have been hugely impressive and he’s being tipped for a big future.

Despite being only 18 years old, the 6’3″ centre-forward grabbed seven goals and three assists in the Premier League 2 in just 18 outings. Included in those was a crucial strike on the final day of the season to help the Gunners’ draw 2-2 with West Ham and avoid relegation.

Obvious comparisons due to his height, nationality and the club he arrived from have been drawn up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. What is certain, however, is that he’d highly thought of and a loan elsewhere at his young age is testament to his ability to play at a higher level.

The other forward due to depart is George Lewis who didn’t make the impression he would have wanted after his move from Tromsdalen, although there are still high hopes for him. In ten league outings the left-winger only managed a single assist, eventually finding minutes hard to come by as the season wore on.

It’s only the 20-year-old’s first season with the club and a loan move will be make or break for him to prove he’s worthy or another chance.
