The brief 15-second clip posted on Twitter by the FPL’s official page reveals the prices of 11 players, including new signing Fabio Vieira, who will cost £6.0m as a midfielder.

The four defenders have retained their values from last season which is a bit of a surprise considering the production of Gabriel, in particular. The Brazilian was Arsenal’s second highest-scoring performer in the 2021/22 FPL and was the fifth most productive centre-back in the league after registering a career-high goals return.

Ben White should be a popular choice for users at £4.5m. The England international registered 13 clean sheets last season and his performances alongside Gabriel (£5.0m) aided Aaron Ramsdale (135 points in 2021/22) between the sticks.

Starboy Bukayo Saka is the standout midfield option. He’s enjoyed a healthy price increase and will cost £8.0m to start the season after he topped Arsenal’s scoring charts last time out. Emile Smith Rowe will start out at £6.0m, as will Gabriel Martinelli – who appears to be good value.

Last season’s chief creator, Martin Odegaard, is valued at £6.5m which will surely intrigue many users following his impressive 2021/22 campaign.

The only current forward option is Eddie Nketiah (£7.0m) with Gabriel Jesus having not yet been officially announced by the Gunners. For context, Kelechi Iheanacho, Patson Daka, and Michail Antonio were £7.0m options to start last season.
