Arsenal 4-0 Chelsea: Player ratings as Gunners dominate Blues in Florida Cup

Thomas Partey (DM) – 6.5/10 – An imposing presence who improved as the contest wore on. There were a couple of sloppy errors in possession, but the Ghanaian was pretty tidy overall and he ignited the sequence for Arsenal’s second goal.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 8/10 – The skipper produced another slick display. He glided around the turf and persistently evaded Chelsea challenges as he attempted to wreak havoc in the final third. His goal was the highlight moment in a fine display.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 7/10 – Steady and dependable in the middle of the park. This was a Xhaka display straight out of 2021/22. While he was caught out high upfield on occasions, the Swiss midfielder moved the ball efficiently and contributed in the final third.
