3. Love for William Saliba is there for all to see

The 21-year-old is already a fan favourite after his pre-season exploits and Man of the Match performance against Crystal Palace. But if you needed to know precisely what the Emirates faithful think of the Frenchman, just take a look at the reaction from the ENTIRE stadium when he conceded his own goal.

The defender could not do anymore as Jamie Vardy was menacing behind, and had Saliba not intervened, Vardy would have scored. It ended with the 21-year-old heading past Ramsdale and into the net.

In years gone by, the boos and anger would have been deafening, but instead, the stadium erupted in applause for the defender and showed him incredible support.

Aside from his own goal, Saliba was again virtually faultless in the heart of Arsenal’s defence. Going by the crowd’s reception of him, the defender is everyone’s favourite player.

The Emirates toxicity is a thing of the past.
