3 positives and negatives from Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth
Positive 3: Travelling fans
Do do do do do do do do Do do do do do do Do do do do do do do do Do do do do do do …SALIBA!
Got to hear that a lot in the match and for good reason. The fans love William Saliba. The match sounded like a game at the Emirates with the away fans being loud and constant, with said Saliba song going on for about 15 minutes to end the first half.
We have been seeing this since last season; the fans have never been more connected to the club than they are right now. The support at home has been amazing and it was fantastic yesterday as well.
Negative #3: I’ve run out…
Sorry, I don’t have a third negative from this match. So here are some honourable positive mentions:
This was the best Arsenal bench I’ve seen in ages. All five subs are good enough to start for this team which is very exciting stuff, especially with Arteta still wanting reinforcements this transfer window.
Jesus was, once again, fantastic. I’ve already mentioned him twice and he was unlucky to not get his goal. His movement, ball control, and shooting have revolutionised our attack and I couldn’t be more excited about him.
A clean sheet away from home! That makes two of them now this season and it is a testament to how good the defence has been so far. We’ve got to keep that up!
Oleksandr Zinchenko was also immense. His movement is so dynamic and is a true positionless player, popping up in all areas to cause issues and I don’t know how opposing teams are supposed to plan for him.
A brilliant win and a top-of-the-table berth (for now)!
